When I woke up this morning
You were on my mind
And you were on my mind
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

Sunday sunnyday, so good to meeeee!
Drinking lots of tea
So I had to ... er... make some fresh biscuits and Austrian bacon.
Not quite enough energy yet (from this damn cold) to go walking around the temples and gardens, but certainly enough for a ride through the mountains and visit the tea gardens in Uji. Maybe I'll bring along the Twin to show her where she was born? (By the way, her sister passed away when we separated them. I didn't want to burden you with sad news at the time.)

All beer is an acquired taste and some days, right after drinking many bottles, I wish I had never acquired that particular taste, that and my taste for good Cuban cigars, Scotch, Rye Whiskeys, Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos and the worst Pitts', a life wasted, lived!

Oi, this is going to sound like a terrible tea name: St. John's wort tea. With a squirt of lemon and sugar. Cold by now.

Yes... I'm afraid it is true. While she is thriving, her sister just withered up and passed away. And worse yet... are you sitting down?.... today, we rode over the mountain through the Uji tea gardens and there were orphans everywhere! Both sides of the roads! Everywhere there was a crack in the road, or a small patch of flat ground, another baby was grasping for space and food. Scattered and abandoned to the elements, to be ignored and unloved. It broke my heart, I wanted to take them all back home with me, but what could I do?!? WHAT COULD I DO????

St. John's Wort is a gift from God. I used it to quit smoking. Worked like a charm! Feel better soon!
Twelve years, seven months, three weeks, six days, 10 hours, 38 minutes. 138,673 cigarettes not smoked, saving $41,601.99.

Funny how we can come up with the exact time we quit smoking (336 days, 4 hours and 55 min).

If you don't like the bitterness, try some fruit beer. Kriek for example. That's my favourite Although Lindemans Kriek is even better than BelleVue Kriek!

I'm not much of a beer drinker myself, although I do enjoy a nice cool beer on a hot summer day. I'm Belgian after all

In my cup: plain water since I just go back from a 5K run.

I have an app loaded into my computer called the "Silkquit Meter." It actually tells even more information, but I removed it for my post. When I hit Ctr and + together I get;
Twelve years, seven months, three weeks, six days, 12 hours, 15 minutes and 49 seconds. 138675 cigarettes not smoked, saving $41,602.59. Time used for a better purpose: 1 year, 16 weeks, 5 days, 12 hours, 15 minutes.

I found it to be one of the most effective quit aids I ever had. Like most long time smokers (43 years at a pack and a half a day of unfiltered menthols) I'd tried quitting countless times. When I finally found what I needed, the rest was just work to do... And so I do the work... One day at a time, keeping track with my meter. What amazes me is that 'time used for a better purpose...' That's calculating 5 minutes that would have been spent smoking each cigarette. And it comes to over a year in just the past 12... That's a lot of time sucking smoke into my lungs!

If anyone is trying to quit smoking and would like some help and information, pm me.

I'm better off sucking tea into my stomach. Right now, Fortnum & Mason's Ceylon tea! Good stuff!

Coffee today, with sugar and Peppermint Mocha creamer.

I know it's not tea - but allergies are raising havoc with me right now, and coffee always seems to help in the morning...and I need to go buy some Earl Grey Creme today.

I like st. John's wort tea. In Croatian it has a nice name: Our Lady's grass. It has been shown to help with mild cases of anxiety and even depression.
