What is in your cup?

A peaceful easy Saturday morning in the Stitchawl household. Quiet music playing in the background... a bit cloudy outside, but the pink petals are blowing around gently. A big mug of Ahmad English Breakfast tea, rice, tsukemono, and a bowl of miso soup to start the day. It all equals... nice.

Cup is empty, but I grocery shopped tonight..and noticed I spend a LOT on liquid. I got:

Coke Classic
Diet Dr. Pepper
Simply Juice Raspberry Lemonade
Tropicana Grapefruit juice
Milk

And I had Squirt on break tonight - it's a grapefruit flavored soda.

I don't think that it is off-limit in old Persia, but tea there might be easier. The time will come.

Homemade red fruit smoothie. This was my first attempt, I just threw some things toghether and started blending. It's not bad!

Chicoree and milk... and it's more of a mug than a cup.
It's the first time I've tried it. Tastes good, after a dollop of honey but I think three teaspoonfuls is too much... hmmm, decisions, decisions...

It is better than Ahmad Hampton English Breakfast.
I drink Ahmad English Breakfast each morning with my breakfast, as you will notice.

On the other hand I might give up on drinking loose black tea in the office and go back to Yorkshire Gold dust. Waste of time and tea. Good tea is wasted. Average tea is no better or worse than Yorkshire Gold tea bags.
Rooibos and Pu-Erh will stay though.

I too think the Ahmad English Breakfast tea is very good. Suprisingly so, as I didn't care for their others that I've tasted.

But it's 11pm, and I'm just finishing up a small glass of rum before bed, ... er... before floor. We don't have a bed.
