Kalamata teppenade on home-made pita, hummous, and babaganoush.
Depends on one's definition of 'American Food.' With so many different American regional cuisines owing their existence to different ethnicities, it's hard to say. But this past Sunday the American offering was a Cajun Muffaletta served on mini round breads, tasting like it was right out of New Orleans. Usually this hotel prepares all its dishes in a fairly authentic manner rather than modifying them for the Thai pallet, which is so common in many local restaurants. Even KFC's chicken recipe has been made very, very spicy to appeal to the Thai tastes, and is served with chili sauce rather than catchup. Stitchawl |

Mmm... I could go for that very, very spicy version. It's hard to find something with a good kick when you've built up a tolerance to capsaicin. There was a wonderful Thai restaurant nearby where I used to live in Vegas that let you select you level of spiciness on a scale of 1-10. Sadly it had closed between the time I moved and when I went back up to grab my things from a storage locker a few months later.

It's pretty tasty. You can get it as a patty on a burger bun or in the various chicken parts. (They also sell the non-spicy versions.) But I only eat it once or twice a year. Too easy to get hooked on the calories!
Tonight's dinner was Tom Kha Gai (Thai Chicken soup made with coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal, and eggplant, not spicy,) Som Tam (green papaya salad with peanuts, ridiculously spicy!,) and popia (spring rolls.) Stitchawl |

Pasta in a semi-homemade chorizo sauce (IE I mixed a store bought cheesy tomato sauce with some freshly cooked chorizo). I think it came out pretty well for the most part. The only problem was that I used whole wheat pasta, which I have never been able to figure out how to cook properly.
