What time is sunrise where you are? It's still totally dark here at 5:30 a.m. I just checked -- our official sunrise today was 7:12 a.m. The days are getting noticeably longer, but still we don't have any time of year that you could play badminton at 6 a.m. and be able to see the birdie!

The cherry trees are just about in full bloom, and many of them have even started dropping their blossoms. I've stayed inside today, but I must go out tomorrow and get some pictures, even if I sneeze my way from one tree to another.

I now believe that I will actually survive this illness. It amazes me, but I have to confess to feeling better today. I know I've only gone through 1/4 box of tissues instead of two boxes, so I guess it's so. I've been drinking lots of tea, but of course I really can't taste it. It's just the heat and the color that have been consoling me.

Well....not me, because I'm doing it too! I just went to Ikea and bought 10 of those big blue bags. I've got the Kidney Foundation (kind of like Goodwill) coming to pick up donations next week, and I'm determined to get rid of some books. It's easier to put them in these big bags and drag them down the steps and out of the house than it is to box them and carry them. But I'm procrastinating, because it sounds like a lot of work. Maybe I'll have a cup of tea first.

Actually, I also have some clothes to go through for Goodwill, you just reminded me.

I have a bunch of PDFs to go through, perhaps my iPad will make reading and marking them up 'fun'... or at least less painful. I've had a really hard time getting my work done this past month, I've been getting these terrible headaches.

I'm still "up there". My husband will be coming to join me when he's done with exams, and I'm using the time to get some research done while I'm here. I still feel like I'm not yet adjusted to the new (old) climate.
