Dashed out last night after the sun went down to mow the lawn. We promptly had a cloudburst the minute I finished. Humidity levels off the scale! Sigh.

The fair is packing up this morning so it's fall. Drizzle, mist, some rain, high of 21C today and the 14-day trend looks like below normal for almost all of it. I like this time of year, although this morning was the first morning since mid-June that I couldn't read the Kindle while waiting for the bus. Stupid mist.

Murphy's Law. I watered the front lawn last night for the first time in a month.

I got caught in a thunderstorm while out running errands earlier this evening. (Well, I wasn't actually OUT in it, I was in the car.) We had some impressive lightning and flooding rain, but it's quiet now and much cooler. I wish it would STAY much cooler.
