Getting ready to go mow the grass. Currently 88° F and still creeping up, but tomorrow's predicted to be 95° F.

(For those not familiar with the Fahrenheit scale, 95° F plus Virginia humidity is roughly equivalent to surface conditions on the planet Venus, but rougher on the sinuses.)

Same here in NC! Rough on delicate heads too!

83° F here, and humid. That's pretty warm compared to the rest of the crappy summer we are having.

Fairly mild today as long the sun doesn't shine on you. It's in the mid-90s with heat index below 100. We could definitely use some rain though.

Our warm up starts today: highs in the upper 90's F, then 101 F tomorrow, then a "weak" cool front bringing back into the "comfortable" lower 90's F.

We were down at Biscayne Bay, 25 miles away. Then on the radio while coming home, they were telling about the damage.

Weirdest thing I've ever seen. Thunder, lightning, severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado warning - and NO RAIN. None. It all skirted us and went slightly south.
