Thank you my friends. She is making me very very happy. Actually, this morning I was tempted to give her a repeat in spite of all the things that were waiting for me at work. A phone call would have fixed those in 1 minute. The last rule she has made up is that children eat 4 squares of chocolate (she likes it dark, a good sign I think). Why not? It is certainly 33% better than the 3 she has been getting every morning, and healthily 20% less than the 5 that make up a row. So she is improving by at least 55%. So intelligent. Takes from her mother. Who is a research engineer. Also the prettiness

This morning she tried a repeat. I am still tired, I want to take an other day of rest. I told her that I would have carried her to school even if I had to tie her up like a sausage. She found that amusing. She knows that I am very soft inside. She is teaching me how things should be done. She loves rules, she keeps making them up.

I don't care, I just want her to be happy.

At school they approved my approach.

you remind me of why I love small kids. Man I really admire you for being that much patient towards children: only men can do that. Nothing the kids do can drive them mad. My dad, my brother-in-law, my acquaintances are always patient with their kids. I cannot say the same for my mom, my sisters and my acquaintances from the other half of the world.

Fathers have some freedom that mothers don't have, in general men don't spend as much time with their children as mothers do, so they tend to put up with what the mother has put up with a million times before.

Bepee, enjoy this time, they grow so fast, my daughter is already in university and an accomplished author with published works, ok so they were in a community paper I'm her dad, thats a big deal, to me

The point is, enjoy it while it lasts, before long you'll be burying her boyfriends in the back garden and just a little hint, bury them deeper than 6 feet, you'd be surprised how tenacious a poodle can be!

Huh, I know at least one father who isn't really patient with his kids. My own But then he wanted no children, and now he has to put up with four My mom was/is infinitely more patient with us than my dad.

This reminds me of the last time I visited my parents. I had written an article that was published in our own magazine, you should have seen the look on their faces when I showed them the article and my name underneath it

It's going to be another sunny day, but a little less hot than yesterday. It should be around 18°C in the sun. So I've already filled my water bottle for the first time, but first I'll enjoy a cup of Chinese Blossom tea.

Down with coffee, back to tea. Oolong, the fancy one. The most expensive tea I ever bought. Already re-stepped it 3 times, and that's it. The leafs opened up wonderfully, from little pellets to large leafs, of a nice green. No mood yet for tasting and doing fancy feet work around it, but 3 nice cups of very pleasant warm fluid that entered my bodily system. Very very pleasant even lukewarm. Back to tea. Back on the right track.

heheh My Mother was the patient one. We joke that my Dad's nightmare job is driving a school bus. He had no patience with us.
