Glad to see you enjoying your frame of mind. For the record, we did indeed go out and run everyday since my post. Oddly enough, it felt hotter saturday morning at 11 when we went out (and it was only 86) than it did thursday and friday afternoons when it was over 100.

Big storms forecast and the thunder is already rumbling. There's home made soup on the
(wood) stove, I've just put a match to the pot belly fire and the candles are at the ready.

Heading back into triple digits for the weekend again! Highs of 104 F now predicted!
We're stuck in a dome of high pressure heat that isn't moving anywhere anytime soon.

It's been a really nice day. 21-25C, sunny and a bit of a breeze. Occasionally overcast and a little bit of rain. But it seems that rain is moving in again. Hopefully only over night (I do like the sound of rain at night) because I hate cycling in the rain.

That sounds really pleasant Rumpelteazer. I can't wait until we get some fall weather. Too bad it's still July so that's 2 more months of hot weather. I don't know why, but I'm noticing the heat more this year then last year. It's probably because I really want to go camping but am to chicken to set up camp in 100+ degree weather.

We almost had rain yesterday, but I felt a couple of sprinkles and that was it. Today the expected high is 107. That's 41.6 for the Celcius-users out there. My sister just got back from University yesterday and has updated her facebook status 3 times to complain about the heat. She is going to school in Idaho where 85 is considered a hot. lol.

Wiggly weather... hard to make plans. We want to take a ride to the city of Kobe (where they had the REALLY BIG quake some years ago) tomorrow to do some city sight seeing, but is it going to rain, is it going to be burning hot, or will there be snow? The weatherperson doesn't seem quite sure. It will be two hours of Expressway riding, and that's just not pleasant in either the rain or snow.
