Greetings People of Earth:


So I joined Audible April 30th. The price: $8.95 for the first 3 months, and then $14.95 thereafter. One credit issued and redeemed early this morning.

But wait! THERE'S MORE!

I just now got an email:

"Our gift: Get the second title in the Harry Potter series on us!" And there's an image of Harry Potter #1. So, clicking on the image, I'm brought to a page that mentions a price when I put this #1 in my cart. (#1 ????)

OK, I thought. Maybe I have to buy #1 in order to get #2 free. However, this somewhat logical conclusion is not mentioned anywhere that I can see. (And perhaps I'm wrong in thinking this.)

I think I've clicked on every link, but #2 - FREE - does not seem to come up.

It's probably just a matter of them giving the wrong link in error. One time Amazon sent me a $5.00 credit for a Leo Tolstoy book from a select list but, no matter how many times I clicked, the link always took me to the main Kindle books homepage, until eventually I just ignored the whole thing and deleted the email. Several days later, they sent an apology email with the correct link.

That would make sense.

When I locate the #2 Harry Potter title, there's still a price listed.

Perhaps I need a special link.

I emailed Audible yesterday [Sunday] and just this morning received a very courteous response and 1 FREE credit.
