@wells: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

- do I just unzip the file and copy it to the Kobo SD?
- Kobo SD is 7.3GB, the file slightly bigger, how do I get onto the Kobo SD card?

You need to write the image to the card. Exactly how to do that depends on the OS you are using. Under Windows, I usually use win32diskimager. On Linux or a Mac, you can use the dd command, but, there are probably tools as well.
