For a new install I've just deleted everything...all subfolders etc, and copied and pasted a fresh back up complete with subfolders, and have never had any problems, even though it's not necessarily guaranteed by Kovid.

, yes, that's where I first looked. It just links you to the appdata>roaming>calibre folder also. This works fine when you have ONE library, not multiple like me. The work-around for more than one was clunky and I'm sure there's an easier way than what I wrangled. But like I said, it all looks like it's there now and hopefully it will all be working when I sync next time. *crosses fingers for then*

Ah, I just have one ginormous library. Glad you got it back up (with the help of some 'elbow grease'! ).

I have 4 Calibre libraries and it worked for me.

Anyone else waiting (impatiently) for Shards of Hope's release Tuesday? This is supposed to be the one that finishes up the big story ARC in the Psy-Changeling series.

Is anyone else asking - what the heck happened to Shoshanna?? She just disappeared.

I'm actually more interested in Archangel's Enigma - I'm really curious what Nalini's going to do with Naasir's origin/background....

I avoided reading the Guild Hunter books for years - just not big on angel erotica. But once I finally did, I was entirely hooked.

Agree 100%, although at least the one set in the laundry room isn't as cringeworthy as the one on the couch. My biggest problem with those videos is that that they reinforce the view that the ONLY reason people read romance is for the sex scenes and to fantasize about hot guys. It's rather insulting to any romance reader as well as to the many wonderful authors that work in this genre. I understand that they were trying to be humorous, but wow, they totally missed the mark for me.

Have you seen the video Sh*t romance readers say? That's one that was just plain funny. I enjoyed it so much that I showed it to my hubs, whereas I would never dream of showing him any of the Harlequin videos.

I am counting down the hours

I finished my complete series reread too early so just reread the first three books (yet again) and am skimmimg the rest for scenes about the rebellion and the h/h of Shards of Hope. Trouble is I keep getting drawn into the scenes with my favorite characters and forget I'm supposed to just be rereading highlights

I've reread this series multiple times now and still pick up on clues I missed previously.

I have been avoiding spoilers as much as possible so no clue how many of the loose ends she ties up. There are numerous others besides the fate of Shoshanna. It will be interesting to see which ones get answered. I'm just happy to know the series will continue after the conclusion of what's been the main story arc.

I didn't avoid them for years, only for months at the beginning till a friend insisted a lot, and I'm happy to have done it. I'm waiting for that book too. And the next Rock (I didn't want because it's NA...)

Then you had a problem with your backup. I can say for sure that all the information about plugins/menus is stored there, as I routinely move it between my portable installation and my two desktops, and plugins appear from the computer I've installed/updated in the other installations.
