Perhaps you meant "the size of the Milky Way."

LOL! No lard, I assure you. Cocoa butter, ground and compressed Macadamia and Pine nuts (really, really compressed!) cocoa powder and Desiccated Coconut. Perhaps when we first made these 45 years ago, the nutrition tables had different ratings than they do today. That, or we were making larger bars. Who knows? I just looked at the tables now and see that they would be closer to 2,500 for this weight. Still, not to bad for something that can fit in a shirt pocket and still taste good. The idea was 'long-lasting energy for activity in sub-zero environments over prolonged periods of time.' At the time, the only other mountaineering option in use for this was 'peanut butter cookie dough' which was less than half the calories.

I should have just posted a picture of it and called it 'Food.'

First the Internet had the Spelling and Grammar Police. Now we have the Food Police! If I had realized that there were such picky people here, I would have sent it to the National Foods Testing Labs to get a precise size, weight, and nutritional content... Who the hell actually measures a Milky Way bar?

Here it is.... "Food."

Gluten and wheat-free breakfast cereal.

I'm dabbling with a wheat-free diet after starting to read "Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health" by William Davis. No real imperative for this, just curious to see what effect it has on me.

You go ahead . I just had some cheese on wheat-free toast. The "bread" was surprisingly tasty.

What was it made from? Cos if it was spelt, yeah, I'm not at all convinced behind the pseudoscience that says it's not wheat nope not wheat at all.

Well it's supposedly wheat and gluten free. There's a loooong list of ingredients, the main of which are Tapioca Starch, Potato Starch and Wholegrain Maize Flour. Yum yum.

Ah! Yes, gluten free is very different from "not wheat". Glad it was yummy.

Yummy!

I last ate a ham/cheese/tomato/mayo/red onion wrap on a whole wheat soft taco, chased by OJ.
