Rooibos Lemon in my Red/Gold Dragon cast iron tea pot. I am trying to get back into the habit of making tea and keeping it on the warmer on the weekends. It is not all that difficult to do.

Training the dogs to stay on their beds at 7:30 AM on a weekend seems to be impossible but the tea habit is doable.
Its funny, my old Shepherd wound never stay in his bead either, then I put a "Baby gate" across the door way and he stayed in bed, silly dog could easily jump the gate, he always jumped a little fence that was a little higher. Dogs are funny creatures the things I expected him to be able to do he couldn't but things I was sure he couldn't learn (open the fridge to get beer) he figured out in minutes.

My father told me to get in the hottest bath I could stand, drink a warm brandy and then crawl into bed with every blanket in the house on you and in the morning your cold will be gone! OK so it doesn't really make it go away, but you sure feel better!

Cheers and kick the cold!

I associate my self in kicking the cold. I would add just one element to the one that your father suggested ... and it is not Assam Harmutty, Keemun, English Breakfast, Chinese Sencha, Vietnamese Sencha, Phoenix Dancong oolong.......

Back to business
Coffee in a new borosilicate cup, the mood is fantastic (psychological perspective and general geography), so was dinner (chowder a ma façon)

I suspect it is the same remedy my brother suggests...

Another chance for Tea House Emporium's Tuocha Pu-Erh.
Their receipt:
100°C
300ml pot
2-3m

I tried and it was awful.
Today I did:
100°C
800ml pt
2m

The Eskimo people have a different remedy, but it involves a lot of naked people and seal skins...if it doesn't clear the cold, you'll at least awaken smiling

More exciting than we want when the bottles explode. We've taken to leaving them for a long time in a very deep laundry sink we have and putting something solid over them. Think glass and fizz all over the place. Fortunately we weren't standing next to them when they blew. They took out one of the lights.

Cider doesn't do that, not ours anyway.

Today mine's a latte 'cos I'm in the office. Drinking cider on the job might not send the boss the right message

Last nights Amazing race episode centered entirely around tea. I was highly jealous of the racers.
