Dear Mobileread Audiobook fans:

I want everyone to know how much tubemonkey helped me in resolving (or solving!) the problem I had with Chirp.

Tubemonkey went out of his way to assist me and spent a great deal of his time so that I was finally able to get those 3 audiobooks I desired. And, I might add, I saved a great deal of money in getting them from Chirp. (The secret of savings is to compare with the other leading audiobook stores for the specific titles one desires.)

Again, thank you tubemonkey for everything you've done for me, and for your dedication to the audiobook format.

Several days ago, Audible US started revealing the prices for their Daily Deal. Not sure if non-members can buy at that price and I don't know if the "Buy for $x.xx" is an instant buy or not, so I'm not willing to test it out.

Audible CA also reveals the prices to non-members, but Audible AU and Audible UK still keep those prices a deep dark secret.

Huh. Not a member and when I open the home page, there’s no way to locate the Daily Deal; Audible just shills a couple of plans to me and then recommends books I’d like. I can only see the DD by clicking on one of your links. Could they be assuming that non-members have no way of accessing the DD? OTOH, everyone used to be able to buy the DD and perhaps they’ve reverted?

I’d be surprised if it were an instant buy, but like you, I’m not gonna try it out.
