Just a head's up.

I'm sure those who shop at Kobo are aware of the current unlimited 50% off code, 50JUN. It's also usable at the NZ store (where some agency books are couponable). I've just bought Laura Griffin's Deep Dark for NZD4.65 (about USD3.30, I guess?), as well as Anne Bishop's Vision In Silver, which is also the same price after discount.

They have been on my wishlist for quite a while, and I'm happy to get them at a lower price.

BTW, the 50JUN coupon is working on these (at least the couple of $0.99 second books that I tried) as of 10:30 am US Pacific time....

I hadn't thought to check NZ, so thank you!

Haven't gotten the rebate checks yet, but I just spent a big chunk of my money on DVDs from Amazon UK.

Also realized I didn't input all of the books I bought from Kobo this week into Calibre yet. That's what I get for impulse shopping (usually I go from my list).

A Tapestry of Dreams by Roberta Gellis has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle US. I know Gellis is better known for her historical romances, but I became a fan of hers in DTB days for her four historical mysteries, published around the turn of the century, featuring Magdalene la Batarde. (All four are now available in ebook too!) I wish she'd publish more in that series, but in the meantime, maybe I'll try this title...

Spoiler:
Quote:
Exciting, romantic, and utterly satisfying." -Mary Jo Putney
Against all odds, they dare to search for love ... the lady who has sworn not to marry ... and the knight who has vowed to win her heart...

For the lovely Lady Audris, taking a husband would mean losing her home. She is content to concentrate on her special gift, weaving gorgeous tapestries that often contain hints of the future. But nothing predicts the arrival of Hugh Licorne, confident in his strength and single-minded in his determination-to have her.

From the moment Hugh sets eyes on Lady Audris, he knows he has found the woman destined to be his wife. She's courageous and beautiful, delicate yet strong. But winning her trust and defending her from her enemies will be the greatest battle he has ever faced.

A richly detailed medieval historical romance, fans of Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsay, and Mercedes Lackey will fall in love along with Hugh and Lady Audris.

With over eight million books in print, award–winning author Roberta Gellis sets the standard for sweeping storytelling full of passion and pageantry. Publishers Weekly has termed her a master of the medieval historical. Her many awards include: The Silver and Gold Medal Porgy for historical novels from West Coast Review of Books and the Golden Certificate and Golden Pen from Affaire de Coeur, several Romantic Times book awards and also their Lifetime Achievement Award.

I think Library Addict is the expert in this category but I'll list my favorites.

My absolutely favorite is a Romantic Suspense Comedy series called Divorce and Desperate by Christie Craig. There are three books in the series. Her Gotcha! Book is also a favorite although it's a stand alone.

I have to say for me now romantic suspense is Tiffany Snow's books. Her Tangled Ivy series is a top favorite of mine but you should start with the Kathleen Turner series first. Be warn there is a love triangle in the five books but the suspense is top notch. I just finished her Risky Business series which was my least favorite series of hers but it was still pretty good. All her books are suspense.

I also started and finished the first book in Marliss Melton's Navy Seal series, Forget Me Not. It was a good read but it's heavy on the angst lighter on suspense till the end.

Right now I'm reading Out of Control which is book four in Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series. I'm 100 pages from being finished. I think it's the best book so far in the series. I'm hooked!

Last I really loved Shannon Curtis' McCormack's Security series by Carina Press.

There is also the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley. I loved them but the last book I had to stop reading for now. I will someday finish the last one.
