As I was in the process of following the link, I was trying to figure out why I, being a ListenerLight member, hadn't gotten an email message about it. The webpage that came up let me know that it's only for members with plans that provide credits. Audible won't even let me see the selection!

Are there any real good non-fiction audiobooks among the bunch? I've toyed with the idea of becoming a creditable member for quite a while. If there's a good selection of non-fiction, I might jump on in now. Of course, I've probably already got more audiobooks than I could listen to in my lifetime. ha

A little over 2 weeks ago, I made a post about some free audiobooks on BooksinMotion's website. I finally had a chance to rummage around on their website and, what do you know, I found 19 more free audiobooks!

Most if not all of the titles are of some stripe of fiction. At least some of them are fairly short--one that I checked was about 2 hours long. I do not see any short stories, excerpts, samples, or the likes among them.

I thought about listing all of the titles, authors, and possibly even the narrators, but instead I'll list all of the authors. That should give you a good enough idea as to whether or not you would want to explore the offerings. Here they are:

Does anyone have any idea why audible might be telling me I'm not eligible for these Ford club offers? I used to be able to get them, the most notable difference since then being I cancelled my light membership.

Membership status has nothing to do with it. My Audible status is "Not Enrolled" and I still get the Ford promos (including this one). I gather you followed the link in your email to get that response. Since you have a valid offer from Ford, I'd call Audible to get it resolved. Let us know the outcome.

Actually, you have to have bought a new Ford automobile (car, SUV, van, or pickup truck--it doesn't matter) within the past 360 days. You don't have to present any proof. One of the little hidden electronic devices, like the one which records how fast you have driven the automobile (that's no joke!), has all of your personal information and date of purchase for the automobile. That information has been uploaded to Ford Motor Company. Oh, and all of the information has been sent wirelessly to the NSA, too--for homeland security purposes of course. ha
