Just discovered Chirp, but I'm unable to buy anything from them, even with my NordVPN set to the U.S., and Chirp Personal Info also set to the U.S. (My account, although in dollars, is not a U.S, account due to my location in Peru.)

Anyway, Chirp looks like a great place, and it has no subscription plans - you just look over their site and select the bargains that look interesting. (And then start to compare prices from the other audiobook stores.)

Only U.S. and Canada are locations that are accepted, along with a bank account in either of those two countries.

I can suggest opening a US Paypal account and putting some money into it, then using that as payment for Chirp audiobooks. Or, see if you can purchase a gift card - for that you'll need two different email addresses as the sender and recipient cannot be the same. Incidentally, I have a foreign credit card linked to my US Paypal account and use that as a Paypal payment option on many websites, it seems to work just fine. Chirp has some great deals from time to time. Good luck!

Unfortunately I cannot purchase a Gift Card (and I do have U.S. Paypal account with enough money in it, but it would have to be linked to the Peruvian bank from which the debit card was issued).

Gifting the audiobook to my gmail account results in the same thing: debit card not accepted (only U.S. or Canada) in order to pay for the Gift Card. Or use Paypal, BUT the money already in my account must be linked to my Peruvian bank. I didn't see where I could simply move the approx. $9.00 (to purchase the 3 audiobooks) to Chirp and just pay for them.

I appreciate the suggestions - I really do - but I suppose we all need to get back to the regularly scheduled bargains and updates of this thread.
