Why I never ventured to try and make them is a mystery. Maybe I just thought that they wouldn't be as good as the real ones or maybe I was afraid that they would be!

um....I suggest you get a new box! unless you are braver then most I sometimes order online because I don't like to load up my suitcase even when I'm in New Orleans.

Get some coffee so you can enjoy some cafe au lait as well, perfect pairing.
They advise you to use cottonseed oil but one of the kitchen fellas told me sesame seed is fine too. I've used peanut oil and like the way they turned out
