Glad they found her alive. Hopefully she'll have access to good counseling.

Oh I had meant to post my Sunday update this week. I've been working my way through the Outlander series. Currently reading "The Drums of Autumn." I think that's the title, the 4th book? So good! |

I just saw on Dear Author that Samhain Publishing has decided not to close down for now.

![]() I just was this last hour going through Sourebooks seeing what was published in the last two years that I've missed. I see they are still going strong. I think the only Soucebook I've read in the last two years was Paige Tyler and this last month Julie Ann Walker's In Rides Trouble. So lots of catching up to do. ![]() I no longer buy books unless I'm going to read them at that very moment. However that doesn't count with Settlements credits. I still got $1.67 on Kobo (Brought two books so far) and B&N gave me $1.57 ![]() It also doesn't count with HQ rewards codes as I want to spend them as soon as I find something. Any Carina Press titles that I should be looking at? The site is PITA to navigate. Last edited by Blossom; 06-24-2016 at 01:31 AM. |

Rebecca Crowley's had some good stuff. I didn't care for Love in Straight Sets, but only because some of the events in it were too implausible for me as a tennis fan. The romance in it was good. I quite liked Hero's Homecoming and The Striker's Chance. Elyse Mady's Something So Right. Rachael Johns' One Perfect Night. Jennifer Greene had her Jove Second Chance at Love titles published there digitally. They were originally written as Jeanne Grant. I purchased them all, but have only reread one. I liked most of them in their original versions. I believe she updated them which is one of the reasons they aren't higher in my TBR pile. Kat Latham's London Legends series is quite good. They're all set around a rugby team in London, but that's just a jumping off point. I wouldn't really consider them to be sports romances. I've bought all of Julie Rowe's books with Carina. I liked Icebound. Wasn't a fan of North of Heartbreak. Haven't read the others yet. Haven't read them all yet, but enjoyed the first two books in Dee J Adams' Adrenaline Highs series. I didn't care for the first book, but enjoyed the rest of Stacy Gail's Bitterthorn, Texas series. Toni Anderson's Sea of Suspicion was good. I've got the rest of her Carina titles in my TBR. Christi Barth's Aisle Bound series was more miss that hit, but I liked the first book. Other Christmas novellas I've liked are Kinley Cade's Kissing Her Scrooge, Brighton Walsh's Season of Second Chances, and Jeannette Murray's No Mistletoe Required. I know you're not a fan of SF or Steampunk, but if anyone else is on the lookout I liked PG Forte This Winter Heart and Anna Hackett's Winter Fusion. Also not Christmas-y, but I loved Jael Wye's Ladder to the Red Star and Ice Red (full length books). And Anna Hackett's first Phoenix Adventure book is a Carina Press title. I've also bought but not yet read books by Edie Harris, Nico Russo, Elizabeth Harmon, Lynda Aicher, Kelsey Brown, and a bunch of others. ETA: Just checked and the Christmas anthologies are available on the Harlequin site. I started to list them all, but then realized a few are $9.99 so wouldn't qualify for the free coupon. But most of them would. Maybe browsing the Carina Press site would be easier for you, then searching by title at the Harlequin site? That's what I would do. Link? Google only gives me the Harlequin site. I'll look into the authors you listed. Thank you! I own several already. Of course Romantic Suspense is a plus with me as you know.

Caina's site is http://www.carinapress.com/shop/index.html If you hover over "books" at the top you can then search by genre, new release, etc. Or click on the magnifying glass in the top right corner to bring up the search box. ETA: this may seem obvious, but it took me time to figure out when they revamped their site. |

Yes, that is the case I was talking about. So sad all around for the families.
I've been waiting for the latest Lauren Dane title from Carina to be available on eHarlequin so I can use a coupon code on it. Harlequin still says coming soon for the ebook version even though it released on the 20th. Lisa Marie Rice has more of her Midnight series books available thru Carina. Those are on eHarlequin so you can use coupon codes on those. |
