I understand this thing about disliking teas without sugar (it took me about 1 year to go from 3 tea spoons per 400ml to 0 (3->2.5->2->1->0.5(4 months!)->0), then another year or even more to start enjoying the tasteless brown water ![]() That's why I recommended Natela's Gold Standard. It is sweet. I don't know/understand why/how but it is. I think other white teas exhibit this feature to a certain degree too, but Georgian white teas (Georgian Old Lady and Natela's Gold Standard) more than others, the latter is sweeter. |

Rooibos Lemon.
astra: you bother because you care. I ask my non-tea drinking friends to try the tea I make them without sugar and milk for the first 1/4 of a cup because I want them to try the tea first and see if they like it without the stuff that alters the flavor. If they don't like it that way then add a small amount of sugar. |

I never dare drink tea late again. Yesterday I had tea (around 0.5 litre at 11pm) and went to bed at 1:30 am. And stayed wild awake until 5 in the morning =.=

So far today: 2 pots of Rooibos Lemon, 2 pots of Rooibos Capetown, 2 pots of Shu Pu-Erh from Rishi. Called the Hubby and all is well at the home. It is raining so Cooper is doing his darndest to not go outside to take care of business. I caught him before he did the deed in the house and took him outside. Hubby found a gift in the basement left by Cooper while the Hubby was in the bathroom himself. The dog is smart enough to wait for his clean up crew to be engaged before making a mess in the house. Silly puppy. But he has cute eyes and is furry and gives kisses so all is forgiven after the fact. I think the Hubby was expecting some sympathy from when when I called and he relayed said story. I reminded him that I had to clean up similar messes before so no sympathy from me. You could hear him pouting across the phone line. |

![]() Past the shadows dark and deep My mind dances and leaps in confusion. I don't know what is real, I can't touch what I feel And I hide behind the shield of my illusion. So I'll continue to continue to pretend My life will never end, And flowers never bend With the rainfall. ![]() Good morning to each and every. Another Tuesday, this one looks as it it's going to be quite wet. Oh well, I guess if we want the flowers to bloom we have to put up with it. Besides, there's really no way to stop it! ![]() Starting today with a mug of East India Company's Assam tea, along with a bowl of muesli. That should work... Stitchawl |

I have many "thick" books I'd like to read too, but the fact that I went to bed at 5 leads to another fact that I waked up at 1 and still had to suffer from headache. I had tried to go to bed more properly, you know, and that mug of tea ruined all my attempt
![]() I drank 3 kinds of tea that day: lotus tea, a pleasant kind of tea which I didn't know what it was, and Dilmah's Ceylon tea (caramel flavor). |
