MobileJanie I also got that email and survey .... this is another one!

This email is called "How was your last read? Tell us and get 35% off."

And the survey uses SurveyMonkey for the assessment.

The Gfk survey didn't offer any incentive, but this one does.

Maybe the incentive survey is to get reviews. I know kobo asked some of us to put out the word and post a link to a "review and get a coupon" type of thing a while back. None of the reviews were posted to the best of my knowledge (they had to be original reviews, not cut and pasted from a blog or other retailer). I did a review and got a 50 percent off coupon. I think a few people followed the link from my site and also got coupons. And one reader wrote me about two weeks ago and asked why the reviews were never posted. I have no idea. I was just asked to post the request/coupon thing.

Below are pics of some of the SurveyMonkey questions that don't make sense.

Also - none of the questions asked anything about 'how my last read was'!!

Pic 1: I can typically read from more than one source during the course of a day, eg ereader, magazine and newspaper. They question/answers don't provide for that versatility.

Pic 2: If you own a Kobo reader when was the last time you used it - they don't allow for the answer to be less than 1 week - like TODAY!!

Pic 3: Q9 is the same question that was asked by the other survey of a few days ago.

I'm not bothering to list the 35% discount code because perkopolis still works fine at 40% off.

I got an email asking me to come back, although I bought something only a couple of weeks ago.

It's a 25% off - Comeback6sq52

So I had a look at a book I was interested in. It showed up as $2.99 on Amazon. But when I clicked through it changed to almost $11, as it recognised I was in Australia. Then I went to Kobo who had it for $11.19. Instead of using the code they gave me, I tried Perkopolis and it was still working, so I took the 40% instead.

I agree with Lynx-lynx that the question and/or answer choices of Kobo surveys are... questionable.

I can't remember receiving a survey from/on behalf of Kobo that not contained at least one question about "reviews on the Kobo site". I never saw or found them. Where are they. If you know the answer. Let me know.

Geralt the Contest apparently got pulled not long before it was due to start.

Certainly I haven't seen any on the new look site. Are there any on the old look site?

I seem to recall seeing reviews but maybe that was Sony's sites.

No reviews on the old look site. They still have Rate this book!link, and on some books Goodreads link.

No review and no way to post them as far as I can tell.

I guess Kobo wants you to use the website of one of their competitors to search and/or browse for books, read customers book reviews and expect you to comeback to the Kobo site to buy books.
I'm sure Kobo has lost many sales this way.
