Kobo µSD Card Image Requests

Hi All,

My Kobo is an Aura edition 2. With internal SD card. The card does not boot.
Switching the aura on gives flashing black/white screen. Led goes off too.
That is all the activity, so i assume the card needs a new image.

Spent 3-4 frustrating hrs setting up N204B. Haven't used it for awhile but it seemed to update ok using wifi after turning on. Setting up then plugging into a macbook with kobo desktop, it couldn't connect at first. Somehow another update began and I unplugged when it was unresponsive. Can't revert to default firmware, screen freezes with three sets of 2 dots appeared vertically instead of normal horizontal!

Would truly appreciate either or current Aura HD firmware and a link to install instructions.

Hello,

Several days ago, my clara HD was completely frozen. I have tried the factory reset but after doing this, my clara HD was stuck with Button ON press screen and impossible to change that. I tried an other factory reset and nothing.
I have also tried to create an image with my original micro SD in a new micro sd card, but nothing more. I really think my original image is corrupted. Could you please send me an original image for my Clara HD.

You will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread to ask for PMs to be enabled.

Once PMs are enabled, please re-post in this thread to let me know.

Did some more digging. The internal kobo drive no longer appears when connected to the laptop.

Also here's a picture of the crazy vertical dots.

Hi,
One of our student pilots has formatted the SD card of his KOBO. I have promised him to fix it till the next season and now I need an image for the Kobo Touch N905B. Would be cool if I could get that. We use these KOBOs with XCSoar as gliding computers.
