I haven't seen anybody saying definitively one way or the other. The Amazon site mentions that it has "our strongest cover glass" so it definitely has the glass on top like the Voyage rather than the plastic of the Paperwhite. Whether the screen is as good as the Voyage? I haven't seen anyone say anything one way or the other.

Clearly .... the 5 magnetic attachment points on the cover actually ARE a charge point, so even if there isn't a micro-USB spigot on the case, there could be a charger through the 5 magnetic dots. But he does seem to be saying that there is a micro-USB spigot. And until someone gets one in their hands and says not .... or until you can link to another video that explicitly says not ..... this seems to be a rather explicit yes.

What I read was if they are both connected, the priority goes to charging the Oasis battery.
So I would assume the charger can be charged separately.

And yes, I would believe the reviewer since the developer never stated the charger couldn't be charged separate but that the Oasis can be charged from the charger.

Note: Amazon had to give the reviewer the Oasis since they are not for sale yet.

The new design would count. The new lighting would count. New way to charge it would count.

You're right that most products do not have the same price in the US and UK. UK prices are generally higher, even taking VAT and sales tax into account.

When I said items don't cost the same I meant the literal same denomination of usd to gbp

Let's take a iPad mini 2 32gb as our example ,it costs $320 on Apples US site and £259 on the uk site,Amazon has done an unfair conversion here and they don't compare the current exchange rate to determine the price at all,Apple
Have been using the same pricing structures for their devices for a good half a decade so your points are invalid I'm afraid.

They are a BUSINESS. What should they be focused on?
It seems to me that the majority of people looking for a new ereader wanted three things.
More battery life.
Even lighting.
Easier to hold.
Hmmm, this new Oasis seems to have all that.

Most consumers wouldn't know a glass substrate from a flexible substrate. So why would a company be out the extra expenses to give maybe 1/10th of 1% of their buyers that?

And yes, I figure that is about what Mobileread users are. A very vocal minority.
