I've never had man-boobs. I won't tell you my current weight, let's just say by rights I should have them, and don't. Which is a pity; for as a comedian once said, "Men should have boobs--we appreciate them so much more!"

Isn't that the ugliest thing in the world, well right up there anyway. I had my arm in a cast/brace for 6 months once, when they took it off it was the same as yours - and it smelled pretty bad too

Felt your pain when i read the first post about the fall. Take yourself to a doctor. You may have done some muscle damage - if that is not attended to asap, it can take longer to heal than a fracture plus it will hamper your healing process on the knee.

So, shoo of you go to a doctor. Awww dang it's weekend. Probably not worth wasting your time in Emergency. Keep the leg elevate and still. And take yourself to a doctor on Monday.

Sending some healing vibes in the meantime.

I asked the doc for a copy of the radiography but he refused; that, they sell... As soon as he got out of the cubicle I took out my camera and photographed his computer screen, it's on my page. The nurse who was there saw me and said:

"Hey, you'll have to pay for that!" Obviously he was joking but I couldn't resist a joke:

"I was just taking a picture of the cobwebs next to the screen."

He felf serious and when he looked to inspect, I just broke off laughing and so did he.

I still can't put any weight on the leg but at least I can remove the cast/brace and wash the dead skin off and I can start on light slow movements for now. I'm just happy it's not a closed cast again. My calf muscle athophied to mabout half its trained size. :sigh: I've got to rebuild it all...
You sure did a number on that leg - that's at least 1/2 kilo extra weight you lug around.

Interesting that they didn't give you the xray though. Here in Australia, the patient owns the xray but the Radiologist owns the report. What happens if you go and see another doctor? Does he/she have to contact the clinic to get the film?

The celluloid copy is in my paper file at the hospital. Orthopedists have access to my (e)file. This one, only doctors and government (regie de l'assurance médicale)have access to; so they say.
