A story that may amuse old Kobo hands: Several days ago, in my haste to use a 75% off coupon at the US store before it poofed, I neglected to check for the dreaded kepub, alas. So when I couldn't download it, I opened a ticket explaining the problem and asking for a refund and a replacement coupon. The ticket said I'd be called within 20 minutes.

Well, over three days later when I finally got the call in 20 minutes, after some backing and forthing and being put on hold, the customer rep agreed to issue a store credit and a replacement coupon. When the email verifying this came, it included:

Can anyone parse that? And why would it be worth Kobo's while to irritate a customer for a lousy 5%?

Ah, Kobo, almost I look forward to the day when the contests are over.

And to bring this around to topic, while it seems as if even 65% off coupons have gone begging, perhaps now that no new codes are being issued there will be some interest in 55% off coupons:

You can keep adding new codes though, while in check-out mode, and they'll be applied to the remaining books, highest-priced first.

ETA: but if you accidentally click away from the check out page, you'll lose any applied codes and have to start over.
