Ah, OK. I suppose that means I wasn't eligible, though it's a moot point now. As it is, with the two promos, I'll be getting six audiobooks for under $20, PLUS the $20 credit--an embarrassment of riches!

That's quite a haul. I don't qualify for any of these promos. I just finished a round of free trials from Audible US, Audible CA, Audible UK, and Audible AU.

At least some of us are qualifying for these deals and that's a good thing

Just last week I finished an Audible promo of 4 months at half price. I did have a UK trial several years back, but have never tried Canada or Australia.

FYI, Downpour just sent me an e-mail about Black Friday; most books seem be be half price.

I went to Downpour to see if they posted anything about it and found nothing so far. But, I did see a link at the top of the home page to start a free trial. I was logged out at the time. I usually see promos if I'm not logged in. So I logged in and still no mention about the BF sale, but the free trial link was still there. So I tried it and got it. Color me shocked because Downpour has always turned me down on free trials since my first one 3 years ago. So thanks again.

Thanks. This offer has been available for quite awhile, maybe even a year or two. It seems to be their standard introductory offer after the free trial.

Has Kobo changed its audio files? Last time I got an audiobook from Kobo, the files were mp3, though the extension didn't show; all I needed to do was add the extension to play the files on any device.

P.S. I just got an Audible offer to change my membership (which started yesterday!) to a year's subscription for only $89.50, and I'm considering it. Here's the link, but the e-mail says it's a targeted offer, so ...
