I don't know if they were able to get a refund. I know the Kindle versions are reported to be okay.
I bought the second book again this week (first time was around March I think) and this is still the wrong book behind the right cover.
I've got in touch with the author who said she was going to see with the publisher (Accent Press UK). I tried to get in touch with the publisher through email and Twitter, to no avail so far.
This is a shame in my opinion because the story is quite nice and this is shining a bad light on it.
If you have the opportunity, maybe you can reach the author or publisher too?

I'm going to copy this post on that thread.

I think the chance of getting higher coupons of 65 and 75 % have gone down. I've been getting a lot more of those the first 5 days of the contest; now it's just 45,35, and 55 as top.

Also, Kobo Desktop seems to be updated only to run on Windows Vista or higher. So anyone using XP and wanting to extract kepub of a book you can't download... I know what you're going through.

Just keep entering with new invented email addresses. The rest of the details can be gibberish or single letters or whatever, except for the ZIP code which needs to be realistic; it's also best to pick the UK as your country because then you won't have to bother with the state/province.
