Watched the start of series 9 of 'Endeavour' last night. Great stuff! Never got on with the TV version of 'Morse' (but loved the books!) and found 'Lewis' to be patchy, sometimes good sometimes meh. But Endeavour just gripped me from the start of the whole shebang, and I have always watched it!

BTW I see that Prime has The Avengers, including some of the early Honor Blackman episodes.

Tried to watch Babylon. OMG, sorry, but watching miserable, stupid, depraved people just isn't my bag. Made it slightly further than halfway but that little voice in my head was telling me to turn it off about 10 minutes in, and I should have listened. Watching more of it probably killed some valuable brain cells. JMHO, FWIW, but.... Hitch |

Watched episode 2 of 'Beyond Paradise' (spin off series from 'Death in Paradise')
and was mostly unimpressed. Doubt if I will watch the remainder of the series. |

I'm catching up on a series of Endeavour I missed. (The one before the current one).

Sadly, me three. I've never been a huge fan of physical slapstick, which makes me less likely to really adore that guy's work in the Paradise series (either of them) anyway, but...I mean, c'mon, how trite and trope-y can one series get?
(I did like the idea of the inherited-with-purchase duck, though. I'll let them have that one. Also, that boat? NOT a houseboat and yes, I would know.) Hitch |

In the midst of an ER rewatch - it's holding up very well - though it's a bit of a shocker to see doctors smoking - and have HIV in place of covid
Fascinating to recognize young actors that later appear on Grey's Anatomy - just recognized Jessica Capshaw playing the wife of a schizophrenic law student. |

I've been in a bit of a funk lately about what to watch. Nothing really works for me at the moment, so I've been watching paranormal shows I've already seen for the last couple of weeks.
For a while now I've been getting more and more interested in Dungeons & Dragons. So tonight I watched the first episode of the first campaign, Vox Machina, of Critical Role on YouTube. And I really enjoyed it. The episodes are (I think) all around three hours long and has 115 episodes and they're now in campaign 3, about 40 episodes in. So I've got a lot of catching up to do. It's great to have on when cross stitching. I think two or three episodes a week would work. |

Catching up on some Arrow verse stuff. The most recent seasons of Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash on Netflix.
EDIT: Actually, it appears I was already caught up with what's available for The Flash on Netflix. It's the newest CW-aired season that's just starting. So since I just watched the last season of Legends (cancelled after 7), seems I'll be watching the last of the Arrowverse shows once the final 9th season of The Flash ends this May/June. The end of a TV era. I've loved the interconnectedness of these shows. I've always been a sucker for crossovers, and the Arrowverse took that concept to new levels. With Legends, the crossovers even became meta. Last edited by DiapDealer; 03-06-2023 at 09:19 AM. |

Friday night I watched Baz Lurman's movie Elvis (nominated for Oscars). It was long, but I was interested enough to stick with it.
Over the weekend I watched the HBO documentary series Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty. Also watched a lot about the trial on youtube. The Behavior Panel channel on youtube has an episode devoted to Murdaugh's body language during his interview with police the night of the murders. I've been watching that in bits (an hour 40 minutes long). |

Currently watching 'The Gold' and 'Endeavour' both grip me in different ways.
Abandoned 'Beyond Paradise' as it failed to hold my attention. |
