Too bad that KSM is no longer supported. But anyway, yesterday I got a used Kobo H20 1st edition (firmware 4.15.12920). Didn't waste any time and installed KSM9 on it, as described in the first posting, along with Coolreader (2022.05.19) and koreader (2024-11). Everything worked like a charm, due to the excellent installation instructions (and probably to the slightly outdated firmware version too).
Wanted to install KSM, because I still use KSM8 and coolreader on my two other devices (one AuraHD and another H20 1st edition). Thanks (again) for providing this. |

One good reason to update the firmware is because there was some firmware versions that you should not be running. I know one of them you would not be installing, but I don't know if the one you have is one of the bad firmware version. And BTW, coolreader is not all that good. You'd be much better off with KOReader as that is actually supported. |
