Green Tea isn't that bad - we have powdered and it's a pleasant taste (currently in a cup) - there are also teas such as ginger, green mate, herbals .... all is not lost, surely .... |

Oh. It is painful.
Mortis I know of two teas without caffeine. Rooibos and Lapacho. Well recently I stumbled upon a third tea Sobacha. I would drink all three if I were forbidden caffeine. I like and drink them anyway, just not as much. |

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll see if any of those are available here. The doctor suggested some type of herbal remedy and gave me a bag of twigs and leaves to boil, the smell was actually pretty pleasant so I was fooled. This stuff tastes like nothing I would willingly put in my mouth let alone swallow but if stuff that tastes real bad is good for you, then this stuff should raise the dead! |

Cannot stand camomile, lime, mint and others. Rooibos is pretty obvious. There are at least two dozens variations of Rooibos+flavour. There are many ladies over here who loves some of them and drink them constantly. Again, I am an odd one and cannot stand flavours, I tried at least 15 different flavours. Only straight rooibos is nice for me. Lapacho is unusual. If you google for it you will see dozens and dozens of very expensive medicines. All the wrong ones. I am talking about the actual shavings of tree bark. They look like that or that Sobacha is roasted buckwheat steeped in boiling water for 5 minutes. Very pleasant taste ![]() ![]() |

There is one tisane, Roasted Mate, that tastes like coffee but it has some caffeine. Good luck in weaning off coffee addiction! |

I was wondering: were do you guys buy those empty teabags ? I'm thinking about filling some teabags myself, so I can enjoy some good tea at work too. But so far I haven't found any of the empty bags ... Right now: water in my cup. |

NBTea (they delivered even to Japan to Stitchawl ![]() You know this one ![]() Unknown to me This shop is unknown to me but the next time I am ordering any oolong and green teas it will be from this shop. It looks quite good. |

http://www.amazon.com/None-K4164-Dis...9759572&sr=1-6 Shipping looks pretty high. Maybe I paid that, I'm not sure, but I had some other stuff in the same order so I guess I didn't notice it so much. |

On the plus side we can give you many recommendations for green teas. You can steep them for 30-45 seconds to remove the smaller amounts of caffeine and still enjoy the yumminess that is a good cuppa. And there are the rooibos herbal teas that are yummy. And Yerba Matte. Iridal: Tea Gschwendner is German and they sell the paper filters. You might want to check there. astra: Thanks for the update on our Japanese friend. |

OK so today I have had 2 pots of Rooibos Ginger, 2 pots of Rooibos Capetown, and I am finishing my first pot of Keemun.
News flash: I have actual work to do at work! Surprisingm isn't it. All the sudden I am a team lead and leading projects. One small problem, in the two years at my job no one has actually bothered to train any of us on how to do our job. So I am swimming in the deep end with a weighted belt. 90% of the time I am fine, the other 10% I feel like I am drowning. Overall it is a very good change. In about a month or so, I should have a clue and actually feel comfortable. Until then lots and lots of comfort tea. |
