Farking Spring clings tenaciously to the IceBox. Yesterday, it got all the way up to 49 F. I mowed the lawn for the first time, anyway. After replacing the battery on my mower, since it couldn't crank past the coldness of the air.

We already had to mow a few times... But we really need a new mower, because the blades on this one are almost non-existent...

That's one advantage of living on heavy clay, the top may be dry, but underneath, the clay is still moist. So the grass doesn't need extra water.

yesterday was a full on spring day, quite lovely, now it seems the winter rains have returned *sigh*

74F now (no wind) and predicted 84F today

We are not ready for hot going to hotter yet. I just had my heater on last night.

Beautiful cool, breezy weekend. Now getting humid, sticky, & hot again. More storms (maybe) ... wacky up/down temperature forecasts depending on who you consult.

This time of year I have to carry three different pairs of gloves in my saddlebags just to deal with the weather! And keep my jacket linner unzipped so I can remove it and re-install it twice a day. Bother!

Rainy or sunny today. The reports said both.

I used to find that some of the weather reports in England were quite funny.

Instead of saying, "That's it folks, it's going to be piddling down again

tomorrow". They will saying something innocuous like, "It would appear that

we are in for some 'weather' tomorrow".

This is getting boring... Again, blue skies, sun, but at least the wind seems to have died down. I'd love one of those huge thunderstorms, just to break the monotony of this blue skies/sun type of weather...

time to hail test the new solar panels.

A hailstorm headed our way. It is 10 to 4pm and black as, and I can hear the thunder.
fingers crossed the panels are hail proof!

I just rang bloke to come home and put the car in the garage for the next hour. I don't want the new car all bingled up as we have only had it a month.

Sunny and strangely cold for this time of year, weather app said 17 or 18°C max and that's what it feels like.

Is it really warm enough to hail where you are? I thought it needed real summer weather.

Your solar panels are supposed to be hailproof - so they should be fine.

We got the thunder, lightning and torrential rain here.

My dog snuggled into the crook of my arm as she is terrified of loud noises.
