Yes. I'm using core2duo. But I can use older version of kcc before on 10.9 or 10.10.

My current OSX build don't work with c2d. Not sure if I will ever support c2d again.

I have installed KCC 4.5.1 and it worked successfully under El Capitan 10.11.3. Thanks a lot!

I don't know if this is normal or not..

I can only zoom the pages when it's in panel mode otherwise I can't zoom.

I just tested Mozjpeg as a jpeg encoder and I have to say that the results are astonishing. Somehow it optimizes the hard contrasts that are normally hard for jpegs and I can get away with about 25% smaller jpegs without a visual loss.

Is there a possibility to integrate it into KCC as it could greatly reduce the comic file size?

Morever, the source files are totally 60mb but the kcc mobi output for kpw2 with stretch option and uncheck high/ultra quality occupied over 99mb. How to make the output size smaller close to its source? Hope to hear from you soon.

Stretching will always increase output size if source files are smaller than Kindle resolution.

Check the project README for dependencies, ensure they are installed and run the standard `python3 setup.py` command with the "build_binary" subcommand.

Question: Have you ever compiled software before, and do you know what you are doing? It doesn't sound like it...

I'm really upset that you won't provide the last compatible version for my CPU. I've been using KCC for around a couple years. I've used it for multiple devices (kindles/kobo/iPad) and even donated to the project. As of now, I have completely lost access to KCC as I have nothing but Core2duo computers and have tried upgrading to 5.0 and now have lost access to the app!

I know you have good reasoning for not providing old downloads but I feel you should at the least provide a "legacy version" so as not to alienate those who have been using and support your application!

P.S - I registered here just to discuss this with you as it is very important to me

P.P.S - I understand source code is available for old versions but I have no idea how to use that. Thank you.

Thank you for pointing this out, it means a lot to me. I still hope AcidWeb will heed my posting; it was quite a frustration. I hope it reflects how much I appreciate KCC and its development.
