No easy way that I've heard of ..... which is why this thread is so valuable!! Many thanks to the several people who take the time to find these and post them. I check daily, because some items are only free for a day.

Ransom X, by I. B. Holder, is free for UK Kindle customers and $1.00 for US customers. Looks like a good read from the synopsis and definitely worth getting a sample.

When I found this, I wondered if it might be self-published. It turns out that it is and is free from Smashwords, HERE. What I do wonder, however, is how this author managed to get the book listed for free in the UK store and in the US store for UK customers only. Have any UK people heard of this author? Does he have a publisher in the UK that made this deal with Amazon? I probably won't list any other self-published titles, especially if they start turning up in the Amazon store in droves, as they do a the other stores now. As far as I know, though, this is the only one that is showing up in the Amazon store.

Martin Legace is a former special ops standout, once recognized as the top field interrogator in the American military complex. His study of the human mind was carried out in make-shift tents on the edge of the battlefield; he didn't write or read the book on how to break a prisoner, he simply followed his instincts, dissecting human behavior in a way that verges on autism. The profit engine became a fad among perverts (the largest single unified economic bloc) and the income was staggering. This great influx of capital precipitated a bold move by the abductors. Their newest acquisition was the daughter of an old friend, the Director of the FBI. All hell was breaking loose over the Web and the world, and with a two-week window to find his quarry, Legace knew that his performance on this case would either cement his reputation as borderline charlatan with blood on his hands, or announce his reinstatement as borderline hero with all of the official responsibilities that entails, and he couldn't actually say which outcome he feared more.

If you're reading this forum within the Kindle browser, follow the link. Once you're at the Amazon site with the books displaying, bookmark the page.

You bookmark a page by selecting the Menu button, then choosing the "Bookmark This Page" command.

To be honest, I use that search on a PC. It works on a Kindle, but Kindle browsing isn't that great (the full Amazon page is a bit too busy for it, at least on my Kindle 2.)

Love Me, by Kelly Jamieson, is a Samhain title (so check the content warning). This one looks to be quite short, at 80KB, so is probably about novella length (and possibly less).

There is a flood of free books appearing in the Kindle store this morning and I recognize many of them as independently published books that are free over on Smashwords. As of my last count, there are now 58 of them on the free book list, that you can find HERE. I started seeing the new books around page seven, but you may want to just skim the other pages to see if I missed one. Also, some of the books will show a price, such as $0.99 in the search list. But once you click on the book, it will actually be free (at least in the US). If it isn't, wait a few minutes and refresh the page (press F5); I know the Repairman Jack story first appeared for 99 cents, but was free only moments later.
