It's interesting how far this thread has progressed past the original post;

![]() I do want something with color and keep looking at the Galaxy Tab. But I also keep looking at this thread and wondering just how much more use the Galaxy Tab will give me. This looks to provide enough use but for far less money. Now I just have to catch it on one of those great sales that I keep missing. ![]() |

This is e-Reader has a lot of support from ROM coders make it into hybrid tablet. I had purchased two of them cost me over $350 bucks! Including the gel sleeves and leather case for one of them. I had tried all the ROMs even the last one was experience v1. As a tablet it wasn't up to speed as the video playback suffer from shuttering and audio sync issues. One major issue with the LCD panel with back-light edge bleeding and wacko keyboard when you type certain keys. Today I have ePad from China and Coby KYROS tablet both the keyboards are working as they should. Coby is much faster than PDN shown here in this video:

Have you looked at the ARCHOS 70. That's the other one that interests me. At the moment, that is. I'm sure as we get closer to Christmas there'll be others popping up.

They have prior model dirt cheap, but decided to past on it. Frankly by next year they'll be more tablets coming out. The Coby one isn't that bad. I can return it back to HSN until Jan 31st 2011. But so far I might keep it? I did get rid of those 2x Pandigital Novel's! What a waste of money. I had returned one back to Kohl's and one back to Bed Bath and Beyond one night without any hassles and had felt good about it! They were nice at BBB and had taken back the leather case and Kohl's the 2 gel sleeves. Now I still have the ePad I had ordered from China, that can't go back. Not bad after you root it. Coby is X5A model with the new G-Sensor, but it lacks a CAM/Video CAM but it has a MIC. Go Figure. 1080P feature is nice and playback on all media I've put in it is great!
I did order Maylong M-150 and will do a review on it? Once you order from Walgreen's, it seems you can't cancel your order. Strange. Last edited by tipstir; 10-29-2010 at 01:38 AM. Reason: Updated Info |
