I just tell them i live outside of North America and this is the only way i can get quick access to English language books, cheaply. It works (and it happens to be true). People always seem to accept an economically driven decision.

That is why I initially bought my PRS-505. Now I am an e-book convert.

That seems like the answer people would have the hardest time arguing with. Any of those subjective "I like" kinds of reasons go up against the intrinsic morals of other people and their own set of "I likes." Really though most of what we like is just suited to what functions best for our needs.
