iBooks can display books written in many languages. The built-in dictionary is only available in English or Japanese languages.

iBooks does not have more of a feeling of reading a book. In fact, when reading using iBooks, the book graphic and wide margins are just very noticeable. They should not be so noticeable. That's the problem. They do things that just get in the way. And we don't need the page flip animation. It's just silly.

You still can't sort by author in the bookshelf view. How bizarre is that?

By trying to simulate the look and feel of a paper book, all Apple has done is create a program that doesn't get it right for pBooks or eBooks.

Now if Apple just treated iBooks like it really is (an eBook display program) then they may have done a better job with the on-screen presentation.

shrug. that's your opinion. apple thinks they are "getting it right". is there room for improvement? always. there is no such thing as perfect.

if you want to see their products improve constructive criticism should be directed where it will have the best effect, right to apple. post on their tech forums. contact their customer support. or good old, vote with your currency.
