How far do the geo purchasing restrictions apply?

I'm in Canada. I know the google stuff for some reason is not available (easily elsewhere)... but purchase too ?

Each and every title has unique Geo-restrictions. The Author (Agent) negotiates a contract for rights to publish....
Rights may be for "North America" or the may be USA only
Another thing missing on many sites. They wait till checkout to flip you off with the Geo thingy. (IP detection should allow the site to limit what you see to relevant for you location)

Here's another suggestion for the site--there is no link for forgot username/password. I don't often forget my password, but when I do, it is nice to have a way to retrieve or reset it.

Ruby DID get your message and is on top of it. The problem lies with the wholesaler who actually completes the download. Ruby is on top of this and will get an answer by Monday.

We do not know yet what went wrong... but there is no need to worry. It is being rectified!

Time to call Astak support

My purchases showed up under the place where I could change User information.

Are you using Linux or some other O/S that Adobe Digital editions claims not to support?
My EzRead did not previously change the Download Buttons to "System Requirements" if you hit the page with a Linux (I have ADE installed under Wine, It reads the books,) but some sites will not allow a book download if they detect Linux.

Again MyEZread used to (not recently re-tested) allow downloads from Linux.
