Personally, Apple is going to allow the reader apps because they are first and foremost a hardware company and want to sell hardware. Software is just incidental.

I thought that he and Bill Gates played alternate nights?
It's a funny thing but I rather miss Bill being the hands on head guy at Microsoft. Some of the zing has gone out of the Loving, Hating and general Microsoft baiting. It looks like the first great IT Hate/Love figure managed to pass peacefully on without even the spectacle of a crucifixion. Ballmer's just not really got that special something that Gates Haters seemed to really go for. That perfect blend of nerdy looks, immense wealth and astonishing power and global reach that got up so many noses. Jobs is starting to look a bit ragged round the edges now, but he'll just have to do for now until a brand new IT Messiah arises.... But back on topic. Q: What does Apple use to make a smokescreen to cover their ebook intentions??? A: Kindling. OK, maybe that last beer was a mistake... ![]() |

Ok folks... things are getting a bit emotional here.
Let's settle down before the insults start flying. Here's my take on it... No matter what you think will happen we only have to wait a week or so to see what happens. BOb Moderator |

Maybe - but Predator will get him. <G>
Apple vs. Predator OT but the above YouTube link refers to Jobs/Apple suing HTC over the "slide to lock" feature..... More on topic, here is another editorial on the subject of the Kindle app... PC World Last edited by CCDMan; 03-27-2010 at 10:47 AM. |

Why did amazon do that?
They should do it with every ereader, son and get market share. Now that they see Apple on the market the are scared and want to support them. I want apple to regret them. |
