Sorry, I didn't express myself very clearly. What I meant was that today people carry around memory drives which you have to connect to a PC in order to transfer files to them. If you similarly have to connect the Que to a PC in order to transfer files to it, then it's really no less convenient. I very much doubt that the Que can act as a USB "Host", which would be required in order to be able to use memory sticks itself.

By the way, anyone else amused/perplexed they decided to call this thing the "what?"
Ereader manufacturers seem to have one hell of a blind spot when it comes to naming their devices! |

Of course, if they called it the Queue they couldn't trademark it. BOb BTW: Teleread recently has a post about the silly names of all the readers. After I read the post I shook my head at the time I wasted reading it. Google, Yahoo, Wii, Microsoft, Apple are all STUPID names too. But, we know what they are and what they refer to. Isn't that all that is important. |

They say that the Que accepts e-pub.
Am I safe to assume that my Sony e-pub books will be compatible then? |

Sorry i meant USB OTG not a. OTG allows you to transfer files to a device from a USB drive. The Boox 60 is a USB OTG device but you need an adapter since its a mini USB port.
looking around the net adapters are about $3 |

This (non-3G) version could be very interesting. Too soon to blow my wad on a pre-order though as I would like to know what the Wireless feature will allow me to do when I travel outside the US. I am expecting to be leaving the US to work in Europe for a few years and am fancy a large screen system that will still have some utility in those countries, AND will let me read my 300+ Sony books. |

If they are targeting the business community I'm surprised there's no mention of the security capabilities on it. A lot of companies have requirements to encrypt everything now and are either disabling USB ports or requiring the UMS devices to be encrypted.
