Hi All!
We travel a lot too. DH and I have our own readers. And inevitably at the airport one of us will get get asked. Then we go into it about not having to carry around all those books in your carry on. It's perfect for travel. It's just plain perfect! ![]() |

That aside, the only other bit of English language text is "PORTABLE READER SYSTEM" engraved on the case itself. I don't see either one of these being a handicap to somebody reading a French language electronic book. Unless, perhaps, you meant the text of the menus in the software itself? Even so, I don't know if that would be a huge liability either. I, for one, would have no problem using a PRS if the menu language was all in French. In France, I could see the English PRS being a hindrance to marketing, but I don't see it blocking marketing or usage in Montreal... |

I think the issue is that Canada is officially a bi-lingual country, so all instructions must be available in both English and French. But I could be wrong about that.

Anyone from Quebec could easily order a reader from another province if they didn't have any retailers able/willing to sell the PRS in province. |

The funny thing is that some things in montreal are french-only (eg: metro anouncements) but nothing is allowed to be english-only, I always wonder how tourists manage... ![]() Edit: I'm not 100% sure on the details, the sales person told us this and his explaination was that it wasn't bilingual...but the 3 stores I went to didn't carry it and all of them cited the same reason.
