r/KindleScribe has report of smart shape feature appearing. Unclear is which version is involved (5.19.3 or 5.19.3.0.1). Mine is still on 5.19.3 and feature has not appeared.

Updated to 5.19.3.0.1 and it is still not there. So it appears to be another of those features that is getting turned on at Amazon's discretion.

I see 5.19.3.0.1 as an emergency build over 5.19.3, meaning that the emergency build contains minimal changes to resolve some critical bug. So, feature code should be available in both the builds. Maybe, the flags used to open/close these features are done at software version level. Hence, it could be enabled/disabled in specific software version and also on subset of devices.

This thread is dead because 5.19.3 was pulled. Please use the correct thread 5.19.3.0.1.
