Well, another tablet sent back, I don't like all the differences in my Androids that I've loved, compared to what they call an android today. Lots of changes while I wasn't bothering to keep up with tech.
Anyway, I really tried with my last tablet, a Lenovo Tab M9. Couldn't get support for it, and just all the changes were too hard for me to deal with. I figure the smart thing for me to do this time, is get an actual E-reader, as that's all I really "need", not another device like the 3 I already have. PC, Laptop, Moto phone. All I am comfy with. I'll start reading through my thread again, at all the feed-back folks have given me, but any new feedback is very welcome. One thing I know I want on a reader is the "dark mode" as that is comfy for me when I read at night, only time I read books. Also, I don't like "fake looking paper". I don't know who came up with that one, but if I wanted that, I'd just read my actual books, newspapers etc. I know I sound grumpy but that's only because I am Maybe just a bit disappointed that I haven't kept up with new tech. Some of really stinks doesn't it![]() Also, I would rather never see Google Playstore again, plus a lot of bloatware to deal with. I'm sure it's on every device, but maybe some of you can help me with "setup" on anything else I get, how you did it. I just want something, if it's out there, that's not so invasive. Ok, maybe see you later, going to check around a bit, denise |

I'll check out the Kobos again today Jon, I really didn't give the Kobo a chance, but now I'm only after an e-reader. How were yours to set up? A lot of bloatware?

Ok, I just read about the Kobo Clara bw, and it sounds like it has very little invasive, except on it's "store" page. That isn't a deal-breaker, doesn't sound like one anyway. I want to find out how easy these are to navigate, the android was horrible, nothing like I've experienced on my Kindle tablet, or other androids.
I don't think I want another kindle, but I'll look at them again as well. ty much! |
