Not to mention that when you're sitting, your pants are usually around your ankles anyways. Or is that not what you were talking about?

Not worried about indentation

Ask an adult male who owns a large wallet to switch back pockets and sit down, he will shift uncomfortably as his left cheek does not have this indentation.

Therefore, I bring it to you that should you wish to keep your reader safe, all you need to do is remove the wallet and fill the empty cavity with the reader.

Thank you.
I have no worry with the aforementioned indentation caused by mens wallets nowadays. The damned things are filled to bursting with receipts, credit cards, airline cards, medical plan cards, massage cards, drug store savings cards, business cards, contacts cards, and cards to replace cards.

I will worry when the indentation gets big enough to fit a 9.7 inch inch eBook Reader into.

Has anybody thought of having a combination 5 inch case with wallet?

I personally try not to leave anything of value in my pockets especially after that one time my cellphone fell into the toliet because my pockets were too loose.

Not sure even if I had pockets big enough I'd be willing to risk putting my e-ink reader in one...Though it just doesn't seem fair that woman can carry purses and guys well....you have pockets.

Be thankful you weren't with my uncle when his cell fell into a port-o-potty at the lake. Let's just say he did not leave it 'behind'

Yes when I was a child I often got in trouble by my grade school teacher for leaving the class every time it was time to read. My response was always "is it 'appropriate' to read in front of all these people".

What you need is two wallets to even out the indentation

Agree with Harry

"More" is not always "better".
I agree with what Harry is saying... just as the 32 inch LCD fits his living room, so there will be times when a 5 inch will fit your surroundings while traveling. Other times, a 10 inch will fit better, like maybe in the bedroom.

Perfect....also don't forget a fishing vest or even a photographer's vest either.

I can see a whole clothing and accessory line labeled as ereader friendly. Just a variation on your typical cargo pants, shorts or outerwear. Heck even using strips of industrial strength Velcro sewn onto yout shirt so you can stick you reader right to your shirt. Even better why not a lanyard hook on all ereading devices so you can just let it dangle. Call it "going commando" with your ereader!

Not really joking about the last one. A simple post would serve as an attachment point and cost nothing to design into the case. I would suggest an elastic lanyard though...if you ever had your reading glasses on a neck cord that did not stretch a bit and got the caught around something you know what I am talking about there.

BTW, 5" is the new 9.7"...just ask my better half...far as she knows the Kindle 1 is a bit over 10"
