I agree. My only minor criticism is that the screen is slightly darker than other models because of the extra layer of material to accommodate the capacitative touchscreen, but this is not a problem in bright light and is otherwise easily compensated for by simply leaving the back light on. Other than that, I consider it the perfect ereader.

your right the screen is a little bit darker but that doesn't bother me at all i soon got use to it, everything else i love including how fast the response time of the screen is compared to my Mini and my Touch.

best wishes koboy

Yes, I love how responsive the capacitative touchscreen is!

Someone needs to buy one of these and tell me what they think! Lol
I'm in between this and PW3...
Seeing as how I can't convince myself into a $300 CAD Voyage...
And Kobo Glo HD have gone missing...

Actually, I bought the Voyage when it was on sale for prime day and even then, I thought it was a nice reader but... not as nice as the price paid so I returned it.
I played briefly with Aura 2 and I have to say, it felt really nice!

For sure when my nook will hit the end of the road, it will be considered strongly. I saw it in a bookstore (not even Indigo!) in a mall near Montreal if it helps.

Oh really? Can I ask what the sale on it was?? I'm beginning to wonder if even a sale did go on, would I even be able to make the leap then? I just can't pay double (than the PW3/Aura E2) for a couple of buttons...

I played a bit with it and it felt quite nice and so much faster than my Kobo Glo. Maybe on Black Friday, I'll be looking at it... Though $129 CAD isn't bad now. Wish it was 300 ppi, though.

It was $30 off or something like that.
I will probably wait to see the Black Friday deals before moving out.
Btw, As I don't own a 300pp device at the moment, I can't really comment on how sharper the text could be but, it looked sharp to me and I'm quite sure I could live with the difference

I'm beginning to think I can too seeing as how I only have the Kobo Glo and it's doing fine. Though it's screen is a bit scratched from use, which can be distracting.

Does it have a faster processor? It's unclear, I had the original aura and one of my criticisms of it was that the interface felt very slow.
