How do you guys carry kindle in summer?

My voyage goes with me every where I go, I never know when I am going to get a few minutes to read. I like to wear cargo pants, and my voyage fits nicely in the large pockets on the pants at my thighs.

And since I used to do American Revolutionary War re-enactment, here's a source for a canvas haversack. http://jas-townsend.com/natural-line...ack-p-180.html They might have a second size as well; I've seen a child's size from them before.

(In case you saw my link before I edited it: they have a linen bag for $30 or a cotton canvas for $16)

A small crossover bag works. At 18 cm wide (7") and 20 cm long it went in and it wouldn´t work if it had been any narrower. (I had to reduce my notebook from a 60 page A5 to a more slender Field Notes to make this work for me).

I have a Kobo Aura H2O and it has a 6.8" screen. I have a smallish size backpack that I use to carry my H2O with me when I go out. It would easily fit a Kindle as long as it was not a 9.7" model.

I considered cargo pants/shorts for about 5 seconds and just know I'm going to bang my leg against something and crack the screen. Phones take a beating, but I'm a bit paranoid about my Paperwhite 3. Also considered the shirts, but I don't like anything in my front shirt pockets, and things tend to fall out if you lean over and don't have the pocket fastened. Will definitely need a small book bag or something.

I have a camera case that fits mine perfectly. Also has other pockets I use for wallet, keys, and pens. A small notebook fits just right in the main zipper pocket with my reader.
