I'd recommend downloading MP3 Tag on your PC and fixing them. You can edit tags and add cover art, lyrics...etc. It's a must program for any one who rips from CDs.

Well, I fixed all of the covers in iTunes. And the albumns/songs coming up without covers on the Moto E are different than the ones that didn't have covers on my Sony (at least from what I remember). I'm looking for the program Blossom suggested.

Okay first problem. I remember reading about it on XDA but I didn't really realize Google Play is messed up on this phone. In order to fix it you must sideload the latest version. I got mine from apkmirrors which several blogs suggested so I assume it's safe.

Otherwise when you search in Play the app will force close.

Another tip is you can disable most of the Verizon apps. If an app is disable it won't show in the drawer or run by accident. The Moto E does not come with Google Messenger but Verizon Messenger so I disabled it and downloaded Google Messenger for my SMS messages.

I've decided to get a case for it from Amazon for $8. I'm trying to decide if I want pink or purple...

First Impressions: For $10 it's a nice phone not as well made as the LG Volt and the screen seems to be not as nice and smaller. The backlight has a very warm tint I prefer cool. Sound without buds is very tinny. Horrible actually. Call quality is good though. I have no complaints there. I love the speed dial feature. I love gesture of flicking the phone to bring up the camera and switching from front to back.

It was easy to setup the phone. I just put in the Straight Talk sim went through Straight Talk site to register the Sim and Phone and rebooted the phone and everything was set up and working. It cost 99 cents plus shipping for the Verizon Activation Kit from Straight Talk. So $7 for two of them with shipping and tax.

I've been texting away most of the night.

Ok, I admit, it's because I've only dealt with the iOS operating system before (iPhones). Android is like Greek -- no, Chinese -- to me.

Backing up a bit: you mentioned marking apps so they wouldn't ever show up in the drawer. Well, I accidentally touched the NFL mobile app, which I will never ever want to use, in order to find that switch. Now it's on my drawer (I take it that's a drawer; it looks like a home screen to me) and I can't make it go away! Help Ms Wizard!

And (2) how would I get Amazon's Prime Music app to get here? I tried to search for it in the "Play Store" and it just quits as soon as I reach the third character I type in. Oh, and the Audible app too please.

And after that, how would I connect it to my computer to download mp3s?

[i did get my micro SD card in OK. I am grateful for the hint about removing the ring before using the blue cover! However I don't like it that much, so I'll skip it, now that I removed the ring once for the SD card.]
