Thanks! I needed the coverage! I think both mine were around 1,050.

Also, the headline authors were not required to stick to the 1,000 words, so their stories might be longer. So maybe its 150,000 words!

You said indeed that you write (very) short stories, but sub-1000 words is REALLY short. It's only three paperback pages.

I'd like to know how you make something useful out of so few words. Can you get any character development done? If you are inclined to tell more about this, you could start a new thread.

Even the part of the post above this sentence is 56 words long, which is already more than 5% of the amount you have available for a story.

You really have an innate hatred for oversized images, don't you?

I've seen you go around the forums to delete them

I suggest you go buy the first two anthologies and the third when it comes out and you will have around 100 examples of how to do this.

How ever a new thread on who to live in extremely too short shorties could be useful.

I might buy them. Do you have some links somewhere?

If this anthology exists next year, I might actually participate.

So the last time you asked that I said...

My answer remains unchanged, unless a Mod wants to allow it.

Since the forthcoming book is an anthology edited by Ms. Stella Wilkinson and, further, since this thread is concerned with submissions for this third anthology - and where no single contributor is promoting his or her work with a link - here then is the link to those previous two anthologies:

Cool. The story I wrote in book 2, The Faceless Ones, is outside my normal genre. Was fun to write, but a bit of a challenge. I even used a different POV then I normally do. It is an exercise I suggest more authors do from time to time.

As soon as I have a date on that then you all get the cover. In the meantime I'm going to paste a list of all the authors and I want you all to check I have not missed anyone that you know of (as some of you know, the bad weather here put my email up the spout).

Anyway I'm back from the Gobi, and I promise I've been working hard. It looks fantastic to me and I'm really excited for your comments on the new cover too. Please check the list below! Thank you thank you thank you all for donating! x

Without actually checking, this one looks a lot bigger than the first two anthologies.
