More to the point, the previous post in the thread is over four years old. Lots of things have changed in that time. About 40 firmware releases, well over 100 releases of calibre including two fairly major rewrites of the KoboTouch driver and the poster is using a device that Kobo hadn't even dreamt of at the time. And I'd hate to think of how many OS patches have been done in the same time.

@Owl_: Your solution of converting to kepub and then sending that would have been very unlikely to solve the problems discussed in the thread. Unless you are suggesting they did the send without calibre. To my mind, the problem discussed in the thread no longer exists. But, if you can only get books onto your Aura ONE by the method you outline, then, as JSWolf stated, you have problems and should start a thread to discuss them. Of course, if that is the method that you use because you want kepubs on the device rather than epubs, then that is one of the two common methods.

I had only one Epub that gave me error comunicating with the device.
I don't know if calibre or the epub file need a fix

We would need to see the actual error to be able to make a guess.

That says that there is an error in the epub you are sending that the driver cannot handle when it is trying to change it to a kepub. There is something in the code in the file 'index_split_167bis.xhtml' that doesn't parse correctly. If you open the epub in the editor, the error scan will probably show what is wrong. And doing the conversion first works as calibre conversion generally fixes problems like these.

Ok I've used the calibre's editor checked the bugs and selected the automatic fixing. There were few errors and was corrected exept for

AVVISO: CSS: Property: Unknown Property name. [3506:3: -webkit-border-radius]****[OEBPS/Styles/stylesheet.css]
AVVISO: Il collegamento punta a una posizione non presente nel file di destinazione****[OEBPS/toc.ncx]

the second warnig say: the link point to a position not present in the destination file

Anyway I've tried to load the file on the ereader and works well

Another thing: I'd like to have a total full screen reading on my KA1. Cuold you suggest me the easier way? (a thread o something else)

The first error is that a property is used in the stylesheet that isn't part of the epub2 standards. It won't harm as any ereader app should ignore unknown properties. But, some will handle it correctly. I think the kepup renderer will.

The second is that there is an entry in the ToC that point somewhere that doesn't exist. You can have the editor rebuild the ToC or edit it and remove the entry. The invalid entry will be marked. But again, this won't cause any problems on the device.

The firmware has an unsupported full screen reading mode. It's not perfect and some of the problems need to be fixed with a patch. It is well discussed here. A search for "FullScreenReading" will find how to enable it.
