Yes. You had disappeared and people were concerned you wouldn't resurface before the back list was pulled so they skipped over you.

Please read the instructions linked below before going any further to be sure you understand how the process works.

You should do this now as they may not be around much longer. They've already 'hung on' longer than we expected.

The way it works is you read the first post for any special instructions in addition to the link I posted above.

Then go through the thread looking for the last 'PM to' post. That is the person you send the PM to.

Remember to post your 'PM to' message in the thread first, THEN send the PM with your email address.

If you're joining a chain late then you'll probably see a post about someone holding the code(s) for the next person. In this case it's KentE.

When you've redeemed the code(s), post another message to the thread saying you've received/redeemed them and who the new code(s) have been passed to or if you're the last one in the chain, that you're holding them for next person.


What I suggest you do is set up two spare email addresses. Gmail works but gift certificates have a tendancy to end up in the spam folder so you do need to keep an eye on that.

One email address is the one you give out to people to send you the code(s). The other is kept solely for you to send gift certificates to yourself if you are the last person in the chain.

I'm the last in the chain that the codes got transmitted to. As HowlingWolf explained, we skipped over you temporarily in hopes of keeping the chain moving.
I've got a new set of codes for you. Please PM me, preferably with an email address that I can use to forward the gift certificates to you.
Fair warning-- there is some concern that a cut-off period may have been reached; but these codes were generated before the cut-off, so cross your fingers!
If you haven't participated in some of the Baen bundle chains, I'll include some easy tutorial links!

Well, the codes Kent sent were all invalid, so I'm guessing the promotion is finally over, although the email I got said they were good through today. Thank you everyone who was concerned about me missing out; like I told Kent, my TBR pile is more of a mountain anyway.

Someone else mentioned having problems with intermittant errors. Retry them a couple of times in case it's something similar.

I agree with Howlingwolf's suggestion.
The free gift bundle system definitely seems to be still working-- I just ran through a couple of codes from another thread, and they worked fine.
The expiration on the gift certificate isn't today-- it's Dec 16, 2013 ( a year from today), and the general guess here is that once the gift certificate is generated, Baen will probably honor it.
I've double checked to make sure I sent you the correct 'unused' codes, and that seems okay. Please refer to the tutorials in the link I sent you, or look at the tips I just PM'd you.
If none of that works, if you can give us more details on what results you're getting, maybe we can help you work it out.
