No....Montalvo's links are not dead

Montalvo has a problem with the hosting, but he is trying to resolve....

Just take it easy, in a few days everithing is working normal, right now some channels are function, try again....

Just discovered this thread and can't believe I've been missing this. The NYT and Reuters feeds both convert great in iSiloX. I can't thank Montalvo enough for his hard work. Am using the

http://tupalmx.com/pruebasphp/grab_NYT-2.php

for NYT and works great. With images it creates about 300k and everything lines up and looks perfect.

Montalvo, can you share with us where you learned how to do this? RSS is something I've been interested in learning more about. Creating feed pages like yours seems like an excellent way to practice what you've learned. Will have to check out some online resources (or an O'Reilly book.)

Two books I can recommend in this regard: O'Reilly Spidering Hacks and O'Reilly Content Syndication with RSS.

Montalvo wrote or uses a RSS parser (such as Magpie) to collect the NYT RSS feeds and put them together in a mobile-friendly layout.
